Two New Guides: Charging in a Condo, and Charging at the Cottage
The reddit-reader page has listed the same five questions for months, and one of them had no answer anywhere on this site: can you own an EV in a condo with no charger? That is now fixed, along with a second gap nobody wrote down but every Ontario and Quebec owner hits by July. Both guides argue the same thing from opposite directions: you need less hardware than you have been told, and the binding constraint is rarely the car.

What a week of driving actually costs in kWh, why an existing 120V outlet solves it for most people, the application deadlines Ontario and BC put behind an owner request, why "we have no capacity" is usually wrong under Rule 8-500, and how per-use billing is legal here even though most chargers are not approved meters.

Canada's First EV Import Quota Period Closes: 15,603 Vehicles of 24,500
Canada replaced the 100% surtax on Chinese-built EVs with an import quota in March. Six months later, 15,603 of the 24,500 vehicles have come through, half of them declared under $35,000, and the unused balance rolls into a second period starting September 1.
