See EVD2 in Action: A Quick Tour of Canada's EV Tracker

We put together a short demo video that walks through the main features of EVD2. If you have been curious about what the platform looks like or want to share it with someone who is starting their EV research, this is a good place to start.

What the video covers

The homepage news feed. EVD2 checks over thirty Canadian and international EV news sources every thirty minutes. The homepage shows the latest headlines, matched to specific vehicles so you can quickly see what is happening with the models you care about. We also surface trending vehicles based on recent news volume.

The vehicle catalog. The full catalog tracks over a hundred and twenty-five electric vehicles available or coming to Canada. Each vehicle has its own profile with Canadian MSRP, range, battery capacity, drivetrain, and seating. You can filter the catalog by vehicle type (battery electric, plug-in hybrid, fuel cell), price range, and availability status.

Search. The search bar at the top of the catalog lets you jump straight to a specific make or model. In the video we search for "Lightning" to find the Ford F-150 Lightning.

The follow feature. Once you find a vehicle you are interested in, click Follow to add it to your list. When specs change, a recall is issued, or relevant news breaks, you will get notified through your email digest. No need to check back manually.

Why we made this

EVD2 has a lot going on under the hood. OEM monitoring, automated news ingestion, vehicle matching, incentive tracking. But the best way to understand what it actually feels like to use is to see it. This video captures the core browsing experience in under a minute.

Try it yourself

Head to the homepage to start browsing, or go straight to the vehicle catalog to find your next EV. If you want updates delivered to your inbox, create a free account and follow the vehicles on your shortlist.
